“My favorite parkside companions”

“With all the high rises and modern buildings of Eindhoven, we often forget about its parks which help bring some serenity to the city. I have been living in the past few years close to the Genderpark, which quickly became my absolute highlight of the city. Why? It’s close to everything but far enough for people to find peace and a piece of green in the city. What’s more to that is it gives home to numerous types of birds, including the Canada goose (not the garment brand). They usually hang out here in big flocks, even dozens of them belonging to one family. My artwork tries to capture them in a playful way, while also showing the versatility of this park, surrounded by the blocks of the city”.
