"An Ode to Tilburg"

"Tilburg City Hall, originally built in the mid-19th century as a royal palace for King William II, immediately stood out to me when I moved from Berlin to Tilburg a couple of years ago. Its beautiful appearance is closely tied to its rich history. The building once housed a drawing school, where Vincent van Gogh studied during his time in Tilburg. I first encountered van Gogh’s work in high school, where it formed the basis of my growing interest in art, that eventually led me to become an illustrator myself".
